Jake Jackson-Wolf, Co-owner of B'well Counseling Services and Libby Nutt Williams, Professor of Psychology at St. Mary's College of Maryland recently published an article entitled, "The Future of Master’s-Level Psychotherapists Trained in Psychology." The article was published in the Psychotherapy Bulletin which is a publication of the Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy and it posted in advance on the society's website.


In the article, the authors outline the advocacy efforts that the society ought to engage in to adapt to changes in the field of psychotherapy. The authors highlight changes that have been made over the past several years and make recommendations to division leadership for future actions related to distinguishing the differences between masters and doctoral level psychotherapists.
