​Jackie approaches therapy with a person-centered lens, bringing warmth and empathy to help each individual client to come as they are, have a space to be heard without judgment, and collaboratively explore ways to live out their most authentic self. Jackie honors what a courageous step it is to find support and grounds her work in establishing and maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship. Jackie builds relationships with clients through a human-centered approach and enjoys making a genuine connection with clients. She utilizes techniques that might include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, humor, and processing internalized messaging.

Jackie's Experience & Background
Jackie earned her Master of Education in School Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. She has experience working in schools and higher education settings. Jackie has a background in working with young adults and adults navigating life transitions, career, and understanding self. Jackie engages in continuing education and has specific interests in relationships and attachment and psychodynamic theories. Outside of work, Jackie loves to travel and learn about different cultures, be in nature, and find humor in all things.
