Dina is dedicated to creating a safe, empathetic, and judgment-free environment. Her philosophy emphasizes a holistic approach rooted in compassion and authenticity. Dina helps clients identify their strengths, enhance self-awareness, and develop tools to improve their overall well-being. She brings a wealth of clinical experience in treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic or new health concerns, and body image issues. She works with preteens, teens, and adults. Dina also works with couples and families on parenting and marital struggles, adolescent issues, and supporting elderly loved ones. Her comprehensive approach ensures that she can support clients through various stages and challenges of life.
Dina blends evidence-based therapies with a person-centered approach, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her approach is collaborative and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring that the path to wellness is both effective and personalized.

Dina's Experience & Background
Dina is a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland and has over 25 years of clinical experience. She is also a Board-approved supervisor and a certified family-based therapist. She practices within the Health at Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating framework to help clients heal their relationships with food and their bodies. She has received extensive training from Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland, and Sheppard Pratt Health System. She has conducted research in the field of eating disorders and published an article on 'The Power of Relationships in Eating Disorder Recovery' in Social Work Today.
